Ukrainian opera singer. Andriy Bondarenko studied at the Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv. In 2005–2007, he had been a soloist of the National Philharmonia of Ukraine.
Andriy is a winner of many international competitions, such as the International Rimsky-Korsakov vocal competition (Saint Petersburg, 2006) and the International Maniuszko Competition (Warsaw, 2010); he is also a finalist of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World contest in “Opera Singing” category (Cardiff, 2011).
He is one of the best known baritone singers of the young generation. He has performed on opera stages in London, Berlin, Munich, Zurich, Sidney, New York, Dallas, Buenos Aires, etc. This season he is performing the lead parts from the operas by W.A.Mozart, G. Donizetti, G. Puccini, P. Tchaikovsky, R. Wagner, C. Debussy.
