Olexandr Leonov

From 2016 he is studying at the R. Glier Kyiv Institute of Music in the class of Yuliana Yablonska. From 2012 till 2016 he studied at the R. Glier Kyiv Institute at the Music College Division. He graduated with honors. From 2003 till 2012 he studied at the Zaproizhzhya Children’s Music School no 4. in the class of Natalia Valter.
Starting from 2003 he has participated in local, regional and soon in the international competitions. He was an artist of Zaproizhzhya Children's Philharmonic.
He received 3d Prize, Bronze Medal, Ivan Karabitsya Special Prize, and a Special Prize from the Paris Conservatory professor Marian Rybicki at the International Competition of Young Pianists in memory of Vladimir Horowitz in 2017 (Kyiv, Ukraine).
The winner of the YAMAHA 2016-2017 scholarship program in Dubai, UAE (Yamaha Music Gulf FZE). In 2013, he successfully completed a master class from Professor J. Katsman (USA) at the Summer Music Academy (Kyiv, Ukraine), where Piano Concerto No. 1 by L. Beethoven was performed for piano and orchestra, accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine under the guidance of Natalia
Ponomarchuk.
Oleksandr was a listener at the Art of the Piano by Awadagin Pratt in Cincinnati (USA) in 2017.
In 2017 Oleksandr had a number of solo recitals in Europa: Großen Saal in Schweitenkirchen, Rathaus Saal in Pfaffenhofen, Konzert Saal in Schrobenhausen, Cortot hall in Paris.
He has received master classes from renowned musicians as Boris Bloch (Germany), Mark Lakirovich (USA), Yury Kot (Ukraine), Antony Baryshevsky (Ukraine), Natalia Kudritska (Ukraine-France), Valery Piasetsky (Russia).
